\"MR\"<\/a>Hello and thank you for\u00a0taking time out\u00a0to\u00a0visit me.<\/p>\n

Veteran of the\u00a0payment industry for\u00a0many years\u00a0initially\u00a0at the grass routes laboratory\u00a0level and later, I\u00a0specialised on helping to make\u00a0EMV<\/a>\u00a0smartcard payments\u00a0happen for payment schemes such as Visa, MasterCard as well as banks and national standards bodies.<\/p>\n

I was part of a global team that made Chip & PIN happen in the UK\u00a0and put the building blocks in place\u00a0internationally by establishing infrastructure\u00a0enhancements\u00a0to support future payments.\u00a0Whenever I take my bank card out of my wallet and\u00a0 ‘dip’ or ‘tap’ it in almost any shop, I\u00a0draw satisfaction on knowing I played a small part in making this all possible!<\/p>\n
